I trimmed the bangs and sidebang of the base wig like whoa and cut some of the ponytail part of the wig into subtle spikes or fluff and sprayed them into place. I cut apart the wefts from the ponytail and sewed them directly into the base wig and pulled the entire thing back into a ponytail.
